Purpleheart Whisky
Purpleheart was so named due to its stunning plum orange colour. It was a Blackwood whisky, aged for over 3 years in our whisky cubes. We then finished it for 6 months in French Oak Shiraz barrels sourced from the high country of Central NSW. So rich intense plum fruit flavours from the shiraz grapes added to the luscious chocolate, vanilla and coffee notes that typify Blackwood Whiskies. This is a ‘big’ flavoursome dram.
